Contributions of a model of intervention in response to the social problems of young people who complete the stage of state support

This article contributes to answer a social problem of young people who come of age and culminate the stage of support provided by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare – ICBF –, by designing a model of socio-economic intervention to ensure their autonomy and positive association with society. The analyzed aspects were based on the different models of intervention, the characterization of the population under study with 287 participants of institutions of the protection centers in the city of Ibagué. Finally a model is designed that starts from the observed needs, with integrating aspects which are focused on three axes: commercial, financial and administrative-strategic; a model that can be adapted in a specific way in all institutes that carry out the same work of the ICBF and that responds to the present needs of young people.
