Author Guidelines

Revista Científica Hermes publishes original research articles in Portuguese, English or Spanish on a half-yearly basis, in volumes that are theme-based.

Preparation of the manuscripts:

The submission of articles implies that they have not been published in any other journal, or sent for assessment with the objective of their being so published.

Articles must be submitted online and care must be taken in preparing the manuscript so its presentation is accurate. Instructions must be carefully read and followed in their entirety; by doing so your article can be assessed and published more efficiently and more rapidly. The editors reserve the right to return articles that are not in accordance with these instructions.

Although articles may be of the necessary length for a concise presentation and discussion of the data, succinct and carefully prepared articles will be given preference. The paper must have a maximum of 40,000 characters, including tables and figures, except for the references at the end.

Proofs will be sent to the authors for their final review (restricted to errors) and must be returned immediately. After being accepted there can be no further modification.

Works must follow these general recommendations:

Paper size: A4;

Text: 1.5 spacing;

Margins: 3 cm on the left;

2 cm on the right;

top and bottom, with justified alignment;

Font: Times New Roman, 12 points.

The journal does not accept theoretical essays, bibliometric research or literature reviews.
