The commercialization of precious stones in the national and international market: an analysis of the region of the Upper Middle Uruguay of Rio Grande do Sul

This article aims to commercialize gemstones in the national and international market and to verify how this occurs in front of the production chain of the Middle High Uruguay / RS Region. From this, the present study is a qualitative research, considered descriptive, in which it is sought to describe the data minutely, and unique intrinsic case study, being the precious stone production chain of the region of Middle High Uruguay / RS, the case. For data collection, semi-structured interviews were carried out, after data analysis was performed through content analysis. It is concluded that the productive chain of precious stones has great importance for the local and regional economy, the actors involved have shown confidence in the expansion of production, accompany the market that evolves in line with the development of industry and consumer behavior, which stimulates domestic and international marketing, however, it is necessary to formalize the transactions, better organization and control of the activity.
