The aim of this study was to analyze the working conditions of three textile factories in Ceará-Mirim/RN. A survey, exploratory and multi-case study was carried out, with a questionnaire applied to 94 employees. The data were analyzed with the aid of Sigmaplot software (15.0), using descriptive statistics and Spearman's correlation. It was observed that 79.79% worked in sewing and 62.77% did not use Personal Protective Equipment. The majority knew the occupational risks (72.34%) of their activity, with the following being cited: noise (92.75%); textile fibers (84.04%), repetitive tasks (88.30%) and tiring ergonomic positions (95.74%). In Spearman's correlation, a relationship was observed between the variable education and: knowledge of risks (ρ=0.211); exposure to fibrils (ρ=0.180); training (ρ=0.261) and stress (ρ=-0.457). The results observed in the study allow us to infer that the respondents are aware of the risks of their work activity, although they are not used to using PPE. They have tiring workdays, repetitive positions and efforts. Furthermore, the need for salary improvements and improvements in the physical environment was mentioned.
