Abstract

Effective communication is the foundation to be successful in the corporate world. This is arequirement of a globalized world where trade relations are conducted almost entirely throughthe written language. We start from this premise to discuss the importance of information andappropriate use of written language in business environments, specifically the world of microand small enterprises. So in this study we are interested in surveying the forms of dailywritten communication used in these companies, as well as verifying the use of standardPortuguese, the clearness, the objectivity and the effectiveness in communication.
